Quality and simplicity guide us in creating our Dessert Sauces.
Berry Sauce has Saskatoon Berries, Strawberries, and Raspberries and sugar. This sauce has the least amount of added sugar, we let the berries shine!

Yes, sugar is a key ingredient to achieve the syrup WITHOUT using added thickeners/emulsifiers like Xanthan gum. We choose not to use chemicals or additives in our sauces: great food can be created from simple ingredients.
We rely on sugar, pectin, and temperature to help us with Berry Sauce viscosity.
All of our dessert sauces use Alberta Beet Sugar, grown and processed right here in Southern Alberta.
Berry Sauce has the least amount of added sugar due to the sweetness of the berries and the pectin content.
For example, 60mL or 1/4 cup of Berry Sauce would be quite a large serving over dessert or in a beverage. A 30mL serving size is still quite generous but more realistic.
A little goes a long way - flavour first!

The sugar we use is grown and processed in Southern Alberta.
Alberta’s sugar beet industry is the source of 100% of Canada’s homegrown, domestic sugar.
Farm families in southern Alberta cultivate around 28 000 acres, supplying roughly 8-10% of Canada’s total sugar consumption.
The Rogers Sugar refinery in Taber processes the beet crops. Support local by looking for the “22” on the bags.

Berry Sauce has four ingredients: Saskatoon Berries, Strawberries, Raspberries, and Sugar.
1We do not use actual tree nuts in our products and we have a nut free facility, however we cannot guarantee that the ingredients we source (such as cocoa) do not contain nuts or traces of tree nuts.
We do not make any health claims regarding our products. The ingredients listed on the bottle are the only ones in the bottle.

Each Sauce has a different consistency at room temperature and under refrigeration (between 2 and 4 degrees Celsius).
We use quality ingredients, only a few ingredients per Sauce, and rely on sugar (all Sauces) and pectin in Berry Sauce for thickening.
All of our Sauces should be refrigerated after opening, and we create our Sauces to be pourable right out of the fridge.
Berry Sauce has the least amount of added sugar and is also our thinnest dessert sauce.
It is slightly thinner than regular pancake syrup and pours nicely from the fridge.
