Quality and simplicity guide us in creating our Dessert Sauces.
Toffee Sauce has three ingredients: butter, sugar, and molasses.
Rich and buttery, Toffee Sauce is lovingly called “Liquid Gold”.

Yes, sugar is a key ingredient to achieve the syrup WITHOUT using added thickeners/emulsifiers like Xanthan gum. We choose not to use chemicals or additives in our sauces: great food can be created from simple ingredients.
We rely on sugar and temperature to help us with Sauce viscosity.
For example, 60mL or 1/4 cup of Toffee Sauce would be quite a large serving over dessert or in a beverage. A 30mL serving size is still quite generous but more realistic.
All of our dessert sauces use Alberta Beet Sugar, grown and processed right here in Southern Alberta.
Our dessert sauces are created with bold flavour - a little goes a long way.

The sugar we use is grown and processed in Southern Alberta.
Alberta’s sugar beet industry is the source of 100% of Canada’s homegrown, domestic sugar.
Farm families in southern Alberta cultivate around 28 000 acres, supplying roughly 8-10% of Canada’s total sugar consumption.
The Rogers Sugar refinery in Taber processes the beet crops. Support local by looking for the “22” on the bags.

We do not use actual tree nuts in our products and we have a nut free facility, however we cannot guarantee that the ingredients we source (such as cocoa) do not contain nuts or traces of tree nuts.
We do not make any health claims regarding our products. The ingredients listed on the bottle are the only ones in the bottle.

Each Sauce has a different consistency at room temperature and under refrigeration (between 2 and 4 degrees Celsius).
We use quality ingredients, only a few ingredients per Sauce, and rely on sugar for thickening.
At ambient temperature (18-22 degrees Celsius), Toffee Sauce appears quite thin. That is by design. If it was thicker at room temperature, it would be much thicker at fridge temperature and would be difficult to pour.
All of our Sauces should be refrigerated after opening, and we create our Sauces to be pourable right out of the fridge.
Toffee Sauce is thicker than pancake syrup, and when refrigerated, has a smooth, syrupy consistency.
Store in the refrigerator after opening.
